Annual subscription
Overview
You can subscribe for an annual subscription plan using the STARTER
, BUSINESS
and the ENTERPRISE
plans.
Object-based pricing
Flexopus uses an object-based pricing and not a user-based pricing! You can have as many users and administrators as you want.
One object can be a desk, meeting room or a parking spot. The objects are managed by the application administrators using the floor plans.

Annual Cost Calculation
In the annual subscription has 2 pricing positions:
Platform fee
(annual)
The platform fee is a fix cost paid in each year.Object-based license fee
(annual)
The object-based licenses are calculated based on the number of objects you use and need to be paid proportionally until the end of the year in advance for the remaining time of your subscription. You start with0 objects
and you can increase it during the year at any time. Decreasing the objects from the current maximum will affect the object count at the renewal.
The object count is checked once in a month, this way we avoid creating too many invoices.
You can purchase objects one by one, we do not apply bundles that you need to purchase at least X objects and buy objects in 10–50 batches. We also have no minimum number of objects that you need to have.
See an example calculation below.
Example calculation
A customer subscribes to a Flexopus annual BUSINESS plan on the 15th of January. In this case, the annual plan will be renewed in each year on the 15th of January. The number of used objects is unknown at the beginning of the license period.
For the sake of simplicity, let's calculate with the following prices:
Platform fee
: 100 EUR / yearObject license fee
: 2 EUR / object / monthAnnual license fee
: 12 x 2 = 24 EUR / object / year
The customer configures the following objects:
- 14th of February: Add 100 objects.
- 20th of May: Add 150 objects.
- 13th of August: Remove 50 objects.
The invoices will look like this:
- 15th of January, First invoice
100 EUR - 1st of March, Second invoice (adding objects)
2104,1 EUR - 1st of June, Third invoice (removing objects)
2248,8 EUR
15th of January: First invoice
Invoice: 100 EUR
After registering, the application has 0 objects
; therefore, the customer pays only the 100 EUR platform fee in advance for the full year from 15th of January until next year 15th of January.
1st of March: Second invoice (adding objects)
Invoice: 2104,1 EUR
The customer added 100 objects on the 14th of February. The object count will be checked once per month, which is the first of each month. The next check is on the 1st of March. In this case, the system will create an invoice for the remaining time in days from 1st of March until the next year 15th of January, which is 320 days.
320 days for 100 objects. The price is 24 EUR / object / year, which is 24 / 365 = 0.06575 EUR / day.
320 days
x 100 objects
x 0.06575EUR
= 2104,1 EUR
1st of June: Third invoice (adding objects)
Invoice: 2248,8 EUR
The customer added 150 objects on the 20th of May. The object count will be checked once per month, which is the first of each month. The next check is on the 1st of June. In this case, the system will create an invoice for the remaining time in days from 1st of June until the next year 15th of January, which is 228 days.
228 days for 150 additional objects. The price is 24 EUR / object / year, which is 24 / 365 = 0.06575 EUR / day.
228 days
x 150 objects
x 0.06575EUR
= 2248,8 EUR
13th of August: No invoice or refund (removing objects)
Invoice: 0 EUR
The customer removes 50 objects on the 13th of August. Now the annual limit is already at 250 objects and the current object count will be 200. In this case, the customer will get no refund. The object count can be increased back to 250 without causing extra costs. In case the object count stays at 200, then it will affect the next annual license period, you will pay in the next license period for the objects that are still active in the system on the renewal date.
