Android Version & APK Updates
To ensure maximum stability and security, Flexopus requires the latest Android OS and APK versions. This guide explains how to resolve "Outdated Version" warnings and keep your hardware running smoothly.

Note: We recommend checking for updates regularly. Flexopus only provides support and testing for the latest software versions to ensure the best performance.
Update the Android OS (Firmware)
Follow the steps to perform a system update:
- Exit the Flexopus App and navigate to Settings > Software Update (the path may vary slightly by manufacturer).
- Download and install all available system updates. The device will likely restart.
Update the Flexopus APK
To update the Flexopus - Device Connect app, choose the method that matches your setup:
A. Manual Update via Google Play Store
- Open the Google Play Store on your device.
- Search for: Flexopus - Device Connect.
- Select Update, if available.
B. Managed Update (Android Management API)
If your device is managed via the Android Management API, the update should ideally occur automatically.
- Important: Do not attempt to update the app manually on the device if it is managed. Instead, push the update via your Management Console.
